Phenylhydrazine for Agriculture

Phenylhydrazine is a light yellow crystal or oily liquid at room temperature, and monoclinic prismatic crystals at low temperature. It is easily oxidized in the air and becomes dark brown or deep red. It is one of hydrazine derivatives. It is also a new fungicide, that is, the intermediate of oxaconazole and fidaconazole. In addition, as a raw material for organic synthesis, phenylhydrazine is also used as an intermediate in dyes, pharmaceuticals and other industries, and also as an analytical reagent. The product is an intermediate for dyes, medicines and pesticides. It is used in the production of chromol AS-G and antipyrine drugs. The phenylhydrazone was prepared by dissolving phenylhydrazine in 95% ethanol, adding benzaldehyde and refluxing for 1 hour. Phenylhydrazone is also an intermediate in organic synthesis. Phenylhydrazine is also used as an analytical reagent.
