Liquid ammonia for agriculture

Agricultural liquid ammonia is filled with steel cylinders or tankers. Filling steel cylinders or tank trucks shall comply with the "Gas Cylinder Safety Supervision Regulations" and "Constant Pressure Vessel Safety Technical Supervision Regulations" promulgated by the Labor Bureau. The filling factor of the allowable weight is 0.52kg/l. Cylinders and tank trucks transporting liquid ammonia must comply with the "Rules for the Transport of Dangerous Goods" formulated by the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China. During transportation, high temperatures should be avoided, and fireworks should not be set off. Cylinders must be equipped with safety helmets and wrapped with rubber bands or straw ropes to prevent severe impact and vibration. Liquid ammonia cylinders should be stored in a warehouse or platform together with the shed. When stacking in the open, tents should be covered to prevent direct sunlight. It is mainly transported by rail and road.

Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 30°C. It should be stored separately from oxidants, acids, halogens and edible chemicals, and avoid mixed storage. Use explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities. It is forbidden to use mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to sparks. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment.
